David Thomson is the Managing Director for Cirrus Cyber and leads all engagements to ensure the highest level of quality from our delivery teams. David communicates and maintains trust relationships with the C-suite, project sponsor and stakeholders, as well as the cybersecurity solution vendors, to maintain close alignment with our clients throughout the project.

David is recognized as a strategy-driven, customer-focused leader with expertise in building, guidance, and mentorship of high performing teams from several security consulting firms and software solutions. David has over 20 years of Identity and Access Management (IAM), professional services, and cybersecurity project management experience, including as an enterprise customer at a Fortune 500 financial institution.

Prior to joining Cirrus Cyber, David served as the Senior Vice President of Customer Engagements and managed the Professional Services and Support team for SecZetta. Past experience also includes similar roles at Saviynt, Optiv and RSA.

David attended the College of Engineering and Computer Science at Syracuse University and Computer Engineering Technology at Northeastern University, and has acquired skills such as cybersecurity, information technology, business planning and project management, including a PMP Certification.
